Confessions of a Former Burnout Queen: Why Your Nervous System is Partnering with your Throat Chakra (And What It’s Trying to Tell You)

Your nervous system has a primordial language to let you know exactly where your energy is. It is made of sighs, seemingly random noises like grunts and groans. I am hearing Marge Simpson here with her vocalized dismay whenever she sees something unconscious lol.

Have you ever been just going about your day and you let out a spontaneous sigh so heavy it practically has its own gravitational pull? Or maybe you’ve caught yourself making a sound when considering your tasks for the day, or putting up with the same nonsense in some way, a noise that doesn’t exist in any human dictionary but perfectly translates to: “If I do not take a pause I will burst.”

Well, I have a confession to make. I hear you.

No, really. I can hear another person’s nervous system and see where their energy is, what the levels are and what their soul is begging for when we speak to each other. I got this the glamorous way: through a spectacular, full-system, physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional burnout which forced me to become acutely aware of my energy. Tired, wired but meh, overwhelmed or just being so done with doing the same old comes through in these sounds. This is the body saying hey heyyy it’s time to pay attention, listen and downshift. What is really cool about this is that this energetic language bypasses our waking state or thinking mind. It is spontaneous and trying to show us if we will listen.

The Grand Collapse (Or, How I Formally Met My Nervous System and Womb Energy to Navigate my Days)

A while back, my universe handed me a massive eviction notice from the fast lane. My body didn’t just whisper; it staged a full-blown coup through exhaustion. I had to learn how to function as energy by how much or how little energy I had for things including physical tasks, communication and creativity. To recover, I had to stop doing and start being—which, for a recovering overachiever, felt like being forced to sit in a corner, energetically hog-tied. At first this was incredibly challenging because I felt crippled and unable to work, so how would I then provide? Enter panic mode, watching the bank account. Yay. I had to learn about energetic living which we hear so much of in the ascension journey. When it is time to become more energetic, this also means less physical. And for many of us, it is hard to let go of the old ways of physical functioning because this threatens our safety and security. Or at least, it appears that way initially, which is the point. This is a forced matrix exit.

I had to become intimately acquainted with my own neural chemistry, body and womb center as the new plexus of decision-making. Even down to the quality or subject of my thoughts, feeling either a pull down or elevate up. I started living life strictly by the frequency of my gut, my energy, and my womb. If the energy wasn’t a match, I said NO to places, people, and situations.

Side note: Making decisions based on what your womb is communicating is definitely foreign to the old matrix paradigm, as is embodiment in general, but let me tell you ladies, she has supernatural clarity. Now I teach others how to function and make decisions on what to participate in solely guided by energy, not the shoulds of the head, and their womb if women. For men it is their dan tien chakra. If my energy says we are playing with the cats and staring at clouds in the sky for a bit first to regulate, then guess what? The production has to wait. If my womb energy pulls me towards or away from something, or feels open or closed, tight or soft to something, I listen. Living this way turned me into a fine-tuned instrument. And once my own instrument was tuned, I started picking up the radio stations of everyone else around me. When I listen to people speak I hear in them what I heard in myself: exasperation, fatigue or exhaustion. Sometimes it sounds like the adults on Charlie Brown or a fax machine noise.

The Strangely Revealing Vocabulary of the Energy Body

Here is the cosmic truth: Your nervous system has a language, and right now if you are feeling fried, it’s probably been shouting for a while.

We think we are hiding our stress behind polite smiles and “I’m doing great, thanks!” but our bodies are constantly leaking the truth through a symphony of audible expression that we are used to over-riding by being detached from the body by over thinking and thus denying our bodies. It is ok to not be ok, and it is ok to stop pretending because when we allow ourselves to feel, we can then heal. This also gives others permission to start honoring their bodies and energy. This then ripples out as mass exodus from hyper-functioning which is terrible for our health and impedes our ability to ascend and do what we actually came here to do.

 The Chronic Sigh: You know the one. It’s deep, it’s dramatic, and it sounds like a tire losing air. This isn’t just breathing; it’s a system override. It’s the body begging for deep rest, or saying no to something.

 The Aggravated “Hmph”: The sound of someone processing a seemingly minor inconvenience as if it’s a big deal. To a burned out system, everything feels like a big deal because you’re on empty. Your neural chemistry is running so hot that a slow Wi-Fi connection feels like being throttled.

The Groan of Dread: That low, rumbling noise people make when getting up to accomplish when the body wants more stillness. It’s the sound of an energetic battery operating on low, or going against ourselves out of obligation. When we lack inspiration to do, it is because we need to be still, come into the body and exercise pure presence for a bit more to build back, also to discern is this for me? Or am I self-sacrificing.

I see many walking around like glitching quantum computers, emitting static and beeps, trying to pretend they are totally fine running on 2026-level chaotic 3d timelines. I know that myself from living it and it took me out because I was too stubborn and indoctrinated to be able to listen until I was forced to stop because I could not longer move. The old paradigm is slavery with carrots on sticks, rewarding those for their “hard work” of working themselves to death. It is intended to wear us out til we get sick or die. That chaos is not something you have to participate in. With how fast the energies are moving now it is vital to slow down and choose your lane to avoid getting swept up into something that frankly isn’t yours. It’s a massive cognitive deprogramming to get off the hamster wheel. The sky will not fall when you do, and you do not need to fear losing anything.

The Ultimate Act of Rebellion: Slowing Down from the Inside Out

Tuning into these noises is key—it’s a direct invitation to give yourself radical self-love through the act of self-care.

We’ve been conditioned to think self-care is expensive whether buying something or missing out on something, but true nervous-system-level self-care is about cultivating a sense of delicious sense of trust in our deserving of spaciousness through presence and honoring where we are, what we need. It’s about slowing down from the inside out and boldly allowing time to adjust around you, rather than you sprinting to catch up with time, due dates etc.

What does this actual, sovereign self-love look like in daily life? It looks like:

The Intentional Slow-Awake: Taking an extra five to fifteen minutes to just exist in bed in the morning. No scrolling, no rushing, just letting your soul fully land in your body without feeling hurried.

Sky-Watching Therapy: Sitting outside doing absolutely nothing but watching the clouds float by, retraining your brain that slow living is the most sustainable in truth.

Fur-Baby Calibration: Dropping everything to play with your animals and matching their pure, present-moment frequency.

Conscious Breathwork: Intentionally changing your breathing patterns to signal to your brain that, right now, in this exact micro-second, you are entirely safe.

Changing your lifestyle and habits to match your energetic needs. No over extending, over giving, compromising, sacrificing, finding work that is cerebral and energetic instead of physical.

The New Earth frequency is Just a Really Good Nap

We talk a lot in the spiritual community about New Earth, anchoring our highest frequency, and achieving sovereignty.

Want to know a secret? The highest radiant frequency of sovereignty is literally just being relaxed, no tension in body or mind because nothing owns us anymore. Not a clock, not money, not obligations to others who do not have the capacity to match our energy. The sounds of the nervous system are entirely different when we are in this frequency. They are sounds of harmony, joy, satisfaction. Like laughter, pleasant sighs. So like I said, we are each capable of hearing where we are and what we need in any given moment through the audible sounds our energy body aka nervous system is making. What is the frequency? That is where your nervous system is and is asking for support if its not feeling content.

No matter how we choose to get there—whether through breathwork, embodiment, sky watch, being in nature, enjoying music, or just refusing to jump out of bed like the house is on fire—what we are actually doing is replacing the static of hurrying with love. And love, in its truest form, is infinite peace, abundance, and joy.

The fact that being relaxed and at peace feels like a foreign, luxury concept to us in our awakening is a massive red flag. It shows just how far we’ve drifted from our natural, divine state by existing in the old paradigm. You deserve to feel safe in your body through everything. Keeping your nervous system regulated isn’t a luxury—it is literally the most important thing you can do for the collective evolution. You can’t co-create a New Earth if your meat-suit is vibrating at the frequency of chaos. When in a space with others, the entire space will sync up to the most powerful or regulated nervous system. When we choose ourselves in this way of slow living as energetic beings in human bodies, we are participating in collective gridwork for our entire town and the world at large. I call it sacred rebellion through inner peace.
